奉节天坑地缝 Natural Pit & Earth Fissure

          Located in fengjie county, the Natural Pit is a giant funnel formed by corrosion in the rock, with 666m deep, 622m in diameter on the top and 522m  at the bottom. The Earth Fissure Extends for 14km, where is the longest one in the world. Both are considered as the world’s wonders.

        天坑是地理学上喀斯特地质中漏斗的俗称。小寨天坑位于奉节县长江以南荆竹乡小寨村，深666米，坑口直径622米，坑底直径522米，三项数据位列世界之最。

        天井峡地缝位于兴隆，距小寨天坑4公里处，长14公里，其中6公里是地面名缝，8公里为地下暗缝，最窄处不过半米，深达200多米，其长度、窄度、深度均为世界之最，堪称地质奇观。
